English manual prepared for the original data base page.

The "Variables to be displayed on hits" selection is a list of variables that are displayed in the resulting table when a search has been executed, variables can be moved from this list to the "Variables not to display" list to prevent these variables from being fetched from the database when conducting a search. This enables the user to customize the return table and thus speeding up the serach and making the hits more easily read, this does NOT affect the saving to file function or any other function.

All the searches work based on range inputs; if a field is left empty the search algorithm completely ignores that variable when selecting the list of hits, if only a max or a min is entered, there is only one boundary that is taken into account. If a search is conducted yielding a certain amount of meteors and then the search parameters are changed, if the save to file function is run, the amount of meteors WILL be different because the save function fetches CURRENT search parameters, so does the select all function. If NO search criteria were given the search will only fetch data according to MJD and only sort the current page according to the given sorting variable.

The selection is a set of meteors that have been selected from a particular search. This allows the user to select meteors from several different searches and then use this selection to ether create a file for download or transfer the selection to the graph tool.

The "Displayed variables" selection is the variables to be shown in the selection list, this enables the user to distinguish meteor events from each other by other means then the unique MJD which is mandatory.

The "Available variables" selection is a list of available variables that can be transferred to the "Displayed variables" selection.

The "Store" function utilizes cookies to store the array of selected meteors and their associated displayed variables.
The "Refresh" function fetches the last stored list and updates the associated string if the "displayed variables" list has been changed.
The "Clear" function clears all stored lists of MJD's and associated string from the cookie file.
The "Select all" function selects all hits based on current search parameters and adds them with the appropriate displayed variables to the selection, this function does not store the selection to session.

The save to file functions all create csv files that are encoded (default can be changed) with a ',' to separate columns and a ';' to separate rows.
